Maureen Pouder, (M.F.A, B.F.A)

I began my career with Caryl Hall Studios painting murals, finishes and custom artwork for high-end clients.  I am dedicated to showcasing captivating artwork with a unique style.  ​My inspirations are everywhere. From beaches and breezes, florals and forests to bright and soft colors and materials. I find happiness and beauty in the simple things.  

I am a born and raised Long Islander. I love spending quality time with my family, especially in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. I am an artist, art lover and animal lover. I work out of my home studio, allowing me to paint any time of the day.  My work is inspired by the natural world and personal experiences. I aim to evoke a sense of joy and contemplation in my artwork. I paint with soft and bold colors and dynamic compositions. I often use mixed media, incorporating elements of collage and texture to create depth in my paintings. My work explores themes of nature and human emotion.

Additionally, I enjoy working with clients on commissioned pieces providing personalized artistic creations. I will work with you to create an original piece based on your preferences and size requirements - making the process as simple and enjoyable as possible.

I am thrilled to be working with my incredibly talented cousin, Maureen Pouder. Not only is Maureen an award-winning and distinguished artist, but she is also an amazing human who is dedicated, loyal, and extremely funny. 

I spent my career at a boutique sales and trading firm. I was fortunate to work in an environment that created and valued a collaborative and supportive setting. After 20 years in sales, I left in 2019 to help care for my parents and then took some time to be home with my two children (now 18 and 15). Originally from Long Island, I have lived in Rye, NY for 16 years. I am excited to be working with Maureen, helping market and introduce both Maureen and her beautiful artwork to new clients and collaborators. I love meeting and working with people. It is the relationship building that I miss most from my prior career. I am honored to now be working alongside Maureen as we create new relationships, building on to her already established career and reputation.
